Born on 2 December 1981, in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model well known for her roles in TV shows and films. Brandt began her acting career with the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. Then, she landed her first American performance in Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia. The actress appeared in numerous television series in the past decade, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt portrays the role of Mazikeen on the popular urban fantasy series Lucifer, which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born and lived in Cape Town South Africa and after that, she moved into Auckland New Zealand with her family as a teenager. Her career began as a model when she appeared in commercials and print ads. Her meteoric rise as a supermodel started when she began working in retail and information technology recruiting. The role she played was Leilani an NZer in the sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. Her first big appearance was in 2021 when she played the character of slave-girl Naevia in the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character of Naevia was reprised in the Spartacus sequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She co-starred alongside actor Craig Parker in three different television shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she was cast playing an enigmatic bounty hunter called Mazikeen in the Netflix series Lucifer. The role is her most prominent up to now. The show co-stars alongside Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
